Koinonia is a remarkably well thought-out and compact ground floor apartment situated within the historic city of Canterbury. Ideal for couples looking to explore the area on a budget, this great value holiday apartment is available to rent with high availability remaining throughout the summer, autumn and winter 2013 period.
I’ve classed this as both a city, countryside and coastal holiday home as it is perfectly poised to discover all three of Kent’s area types. The popular and trendy coastal town of Whitstable is a mere 6 miles away while Koinonia itself is on the outskirts of Canterbury making it an ideal city-break opportunity with Kent, otherwise known as ‘the garden of England’ surrounding you for the countryside aspect.
As this is a ground-floor apartment within a well kept block, you can enjoy use of the stunning gardens and make use of this outdoor space. Koinonia has just one bedroom to accommodate two guests so isn’t suitable for large groups but as a result is far cheaper than other holiday properties. Why pay for rooms you wont use? You’ll also find one bathroom with both a bath and shower as well as a well equipped kitchen and open plan living and dining area.
All bed linen and towels are of course included with Koinonia as is an allocated off street parking space which can prove invaluable in a city such as Canterbury. Unfortunately due to this being a holiday apartment, pets and smoking aren’t allowed but a great aspect is the provision of internet access and Sky television as well as books and DVDs ideal for the rainy and rest days which you’ll welcome during a city-breaks as they don’t often tend to be all that relaxing.
