For the ideal Whitstable getaway, Dimity Cottage is ideally located on Island Wall, just a stone’s throw away from Whitstable’s pebble beach and the Old Neptune pub. A short walk up the seafront will bring you to the Whitstable Oyster Fishery Co restaurant and Whitstable’s famous harbour. In the town, also a short walk away, you’ll find restaurants of every variety and countless small independent shops. Nearby tennis courts as well as Whitstable Seasalter Golf Club both located within 100 metres offer local sporting attractions and Chestfield Golf Club is well worth a visit also being just a short drive away. Canterbury which is a mere 8 miles away makes a great cultural day out with the chance to visit Canterbury’s world famous cathedral and other tourist attractions.
As you can see, Dimity Cottage is situated in a perfect spot to allow you to explore all that Whitstable, Kent and even London have to offer. This 3 bedroomed terraced house with a spacious open plan downstairs sleeps 6 and is great value with prices starting at just £300 a week. There’s currently high availability for the 2013/14 period with short breaks possible off season and at short notice. You’ll immediately notice that Dimity Cottage has a contemporary and clean interior design style (it being named after the shade of Dimity white paint used inside) which gives it a spacious feel. The third bedroom is reached via the second which is worth considering when booking but it shouldn’t pose too much of a problem.
Dimity Cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for 6 and a bathroom with shower. At the back of this British Cottage, you’ll find a useful block paved garden suitable for a barbecue and dining outside. Another great thing about Whitstable’s beach worth noting is that it’s permitted to barbecue upon the pebbles which can make a lovely end to the day. You can walk for hours along the coastline from Whitstable, to the West you’ll reach Seasalter and to the East you’ll find Tankerton giving you plenty to explore.
