One of three holiday rental cottages that have been created through the tasteful conversion of an early 19th century barn set within the Peak District National Park favoured for its hiking routes. The three cottages that make up Primitive Mews can accommodate 10 guests together but this particular holiday house designated as number 1 can accommodate 2 guests with its one double bedroom. This makes 1 Primitive Views perfect for a romantic retreat as well as the perfect base from which to explore all that the National Park, Derbyshire Dales and Chelmorton near Buxton areas have to offer.
This cottage also features a comfortable living room along with a whopping 50 inch plasma screen TV with DVD player to help unwind after a day of mountain walking. There’s also a bath with jet shower over it as well as a small kitchen with dining area situated in the living room. This cottage enjoys shared usage of a grass paddock along with the other Primitive Mews cottages as well as children’s play area and a gravelled area with a barbecue. There’s off-street parking for 2 cars and bed linen and towels are provided. A dog is welcome with you during your stay but owners specify that you don’t bring children under 2 years of age.
Chelmorton is a town with lots of ancient history including barrows, drystone walls and medieval buildings. Buxton is a mere 4 miles away and makes for a nice walk. There’s also a wonderful pub in the town which is surrounded by brilliant walking areas so it’s worth bringing an OS map with you or hiking guides for the Peak District National Park.
